so back when I was 15 and just learning guitar, a few albums found their way to me that changed my relationship with music. I started writing songs and dreaming about maybe one day writing an album of my own.

fast forward 15 years, and over a decade playing in the band Walden with my best friends, I realized that dream I always had wasn't going to happen unless I made it happen. so, I went for it…

I took all these songs I’d been working on my whole life - songs about childhood, grief, and heartbreak, songs that were so personal to me, and I started recording them in my room. and before I knew it, I had a whole album weaving together my entire life. it’s called “Cedar Forks” and its named after my neighborhood that i grew up in. that house was my home from birth up until a couple years ago when my parents sold it, and it was sacred to me. i’ve never felt a stronger connection to a place on earth.

this album is about all of those formative moments and experiences while that house was in my life: the beautiful ones, the painful ones, and everything in between. it’s a coming of age story. it’s an album for anyone who has deep roots to their hometown. and in many ways, it’s my way of putting a bow on a chapter of my life.

and now after working so hard for the past couple years, I’m finally ready to share it with you! it comes out july 25th.

i hope you enjoy the music and i just wanted to thank you all for sticking by me and being so supportive through this wild and beautiful journey
